FireHydrant.org has a number of people working behind the scenes, keeping it up and running. Thomas Ingalsbe is the site owner. Thomas is quite familiar with the fire hydrant industry and probably has the largest collection of fire hydrant literature and pictures in the world! After stumbling across Fire Hydrant Central, Thomas recruited Ethan Kennedy to do the web site design and maintenance. In Fall 1998 Ethan had set up an online fire hydrant photo gallery similar to FireHydrant.org, which we've saved in our archives, called Fire Hydrant Central.

Jim Quist joined the volunteer crew from early on, offering his knowledge and incredible researching skills. Jim is in charge of links and making contacts worldwide. John Anderson, an avid hydrant collector, has also been behind the scenes for some time. John does photo editing and is a webmaster whose primarly emphasis has been manufacturer pages and collection pages. His passion for details & differences has expanded FH.O's documentation of a number of manufacturers' hydrants. Eventually, Willis Lamm found his way to FireHydrant.org. Willis is FireHydrant.org's West Coast man, and is our technical editor. Willis' knowledge of water supply and wet barrel hydrants has been an important asset to the site's development.
