Part 2 - Clow 'Eddy Hydrants'

The Eddy hydrant continued on after Eddy Valve was bought by Clow Valve. These various models are shown below to demonstrate their design heritage. All are of 2 piece barrel design.
  Clow 'Eddy': Short Upper Barrel
These hydrants look like the last of the Eddy Valve hydrants but have "Clow" cast onto the barrel.

  Clow 'Eddy': Tall Upper Barrel
These hydrants have a 'standard' height upper barrel. Two styles of barrel joint can be found; a 'break flange' style and a conventional solid flange style.

  Clow Medallion
This bonnet of this model still retains most of the original look of the hydrant patented by Eddy Valve in 1889!
  • The Medallion is made in 4½" and 5¼" V.O. sizes.
  • The hydrants are dated with year of manufacture.
